Caleb Steele caught and released this 8-pound 6 oz Smallmouth Bass on Candice Lake. He was perch fishing with a 1/8oz Black Hair Jig on an ultra-light rod with 4-pound test, a bobber 4’ above the jig. The bobber slowly went down and Caleb thought it was another perch until the pole bent heavily and the drag started to run. After a solid five-minute fight his dad netted the huge fish! What an awesome memory!
